Standardsement FA Brevik

Standardsement FA Brevik is available in two varieties:

evoZero Standardsement FA Brevik

evoZero: This is the physical product where CO₂ reductions are attributed to specific parts of the cement volume using environmental attribute certificates (EAC) from the cement plant in Brevik.

The total GWP (net) for the main product (CEM II/B-M (V-L) 42.5 R) is 46 kg CO₂eq per tonne of cement, a CCS-related reduction of 405 kg CO₂eq per tonne of cement or 90% compared to the conventional product.

To document the GWP, the P-EPD for the underlying product available on this page and an evoZero product declaration reflecting the mass balance part are used. The underlying product is evoBuild CC Standard Cement FA, CEM II/B-M (V-L) 42.5 R). 


evoBuild CC Standardsement FA Brevik

evoBuild CEM II/B-M (V-L) 42.5 R: The physical product evoBuild Carbon Captured contains the CO₂ reductions achieved through carbon dioxide capture at the Brevik plant, distributed proportionally across the entire cement volume.

For this cement, the total GWP (net) is 230 kg CO₂eq per tonne of cement, which corresponds to a CCS-related reduction of 221 kg CO₂ per tonne compared to conventional products.
