Anläggningscement FA Brevik is manufactured at our cement plant in Brevik, Norway, where the world’s first CCS facility within the cement industry is located.

The product is available in two versions:

evoBuild CC Anläggningscement FA Brevik

evoBuild CEM II/A-V 42,5 N MH/LA/NSR: The physical product evoBuild Carbon Captured contains the CO₂ reductions achieved through carbon dioxide capture at the Brevik plant, distributed proportionally across the entire cement volume.

For this cement, the total GWP (net) is 243 kg CO₂eq per tonne of cement, which corresponds to a CCS-related reduction of 237 kg CO₂ per tonne compared with the product without CCS technology.

evoZero Anläggningscement FA Brevik

evoZero: This is the physical product where CO₂ reductions are attributed to specific parts of the cement volume using a declaration from our Carbon Bank, validated by DNV.

The total GWP (net) for the main product (CEM II/A-V 42,5 N MH/LA/NSR) is 45 kg CO₂eq per tonne of cement, a CCS-related reduction of 435 kg CO₂eq per tonne of cement or just over 90% compared with the product without CCS technology.

P-EPD for evoBuild is used to document GWP, available on this page. In addition, an evoZero declaration from our Carbon Bank needs to be added.
